Fastmenu fur Windows ist fur uns zu einem unentbehrlichen Tool geworden. Nicht nur, dass das Programm noch ein paar Tricks mehr auf Lager hat als das Windows-Startmenu (Uhr immer sichtbar, integrierter Taskplaner), nein: Bei den vielen Malen, bei denen uns unser Windows schon abgesturzt war, lief Fastmenu nach einer Windows-Neuinstallation sofort - ohne Datenverlust. Das Startmenu von Windows musste man bei jeder neuen Windows-Version erst muhsam wieder aufbauen. Mit Fastmenu lief es umgekehrt: Weil wir von Anfang an nur unsere wirklich wichtigen Programme im FastMenu integriert haben, war das Tool dann bei Windows-Neuinstallationen immer ein wichtiger Indikator, welche Programme noch zu installieren sind. Aber ich rede hier die ganze Zeit von Windows-Absturzen und Neuinstallationen. Doch FastMenu bietet noch diverse andere Vorteile: Es ist einfach schnell: Bis mein Windows-Startmenu mit all den Programmen endlich erscheint, habe ich fast schon vergessen, was ich ursprunglich am Computer wollte. Es steht immer zur Verfugung/ist immer im Vordergrund. Es nimmt kaum Platz weg und Fastmenu ist Freeware und kostet Sie deshalb nichts. Um Fastmenu nutzen zu konnen, mussen Sie zunachst die haufig benutzten Programme in das Menu integrieren. Das geht per Maus (einfach ein Programmsymbol auf das Fastmenu-Fenster ziehen oder - spezifischer - uber die Konfiguration.
